Druids strike Feeney deal
STRIKER Joe Feeney has signed for NEWI Cefn Druids after impressing during his trial period.

The former Wrexham and Prescot Cables forward joins from Lancaster City and signed on the dotted line after another pleasing performance in the 2-2 draw with Peterborough United - which was capped with a great volley into the top corner of the net.

Upon signing Feeney said: "I knew Lee and Waynne from I played at Wrexham.

"There's a good atmosphere in the dressing room here and I felt like I fitted in straight away.

"I see myself as an old fashioned number nine where I try to hold the ball up, get it wide and then go into the box.

"I hope to be here for the long haul and I aim to score as many goals as I can and help the team do well.

"Tonight was a good result for us and, hopefully there will be more goals like that to follow!"

"I'm glad to be here," he added.
